
Ruby Breward | Paralegal
Ruby joined Sperrin Law in 2022, and works primarily in criminal defence, with a particular interest in protest law. She has experience in criminal and extradition appeals, terrorism-related charges, and actions against the police. She is committed to client care, prioritising reliability and consistency in all cases.
Prior to this, Ruby worked for several years as a caseworker and legal assistant in France, Greece and the UK, where she gained expertise in asylum procedures and related litigation. She also volunteered at Greater Manchester Law Centre, where she represented clients at the First-tier Tribunal.
Ruby graduated with Merit from the Inns of Court College of Advocacy in 2024, after securing a Distinction in her GDL, and completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. She speaks fluent Spanish and French.
